The City of Stonnington takes in the suburbs of Armadale, Glen Iris, Kooyong, Malvern, Malvern East, Prahran, South Yarra, Toorak and Windsor with three Council-owned and operated Early Years Centres throughout the municipality for children aged three months to five years. We provide high quality care and education including long day care, occasional care and kindergarten services.

City of Stonnington has an opportunity for a Coordinator to deliver an effective and efficient Early Years’ Service, providing a safe and quality service that promotes the social, emotional and intellectual needs of children and that is appropriate to the needs of the parents and children regardless of income, culture or disability.

This is a temporary contract commencing in August/September 2020 until the end of January 2021 for 24 hours a week with flexibility for hours per day and days per week.Secondments from other local governments will be considered. We will be running this advert until a successful candidate has been found and so it may close earlier than the date advised.

To be successful you will have a tertiary qualification in Early Childhood with substantial experience in the development and delivery of Early Year’s Services. Additionally you have a demonstrated knowledge of the relevant State and Federal policies, regulations and standards and compliance requirements for Early Years Services.
