An opportunity exists at the City of Stonnington - one of Melbourne’s most progressive councils, to utilise your communications expertise in a permanent full time position, located at our modern and sustainable office on Glenferrie Road in Malvern, surrounded by an abundance of local shops, cafes and restaurants.

As a Strategic Communications Advisor you’ll drive the objectives of the Strategic Communications Unit in developing and implementing communication strategies for Council projects and providing advice to management and staff on communications planning for projects, services and activities.

We’re looking for a motivated individual with a history of positively impacting teams, knowledge and practical experience of appropriate communication procedures and principles and an understanding of publication work, particularly writing, editing and publication production/print management. Additionally, you’ll need experience in organising and communicating/promoting events and a high degree of familiarity with digital platforms and their use in integrated marketing campaigns.
