An opportunity exists at the City of Stonnington - one of Melbourne’s most progressive councils, to join our Leisure & Wellbeing Department on a permanent full time basis, located at the iconic Harold Holt Swim Centre in Malvern.

As a Senior Team Leader – Risk and Aquatic Programs you’ll coordinate the day to day management of the operational functions and programs within Aquatic Services. This position will also assist in delivering risk management and implementing key opportunities for OHS improvement, as well as providing support and senior leadership to the Team Leader Aquatic Programs in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the learn to swim program.

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience working in an aquatic and leisure environment and is proficient in the application of standardised procedures, practices, Acts and Regulations in relation to aquatic environments and general workplace health and safety. Additionally, the successful applicant will need well-developed strategies for leading and mentoring staff, creating a cohesive and cooperative team culture and have a history of delivering improvement initiatives and developing and implementing projects, specifically in an aquatic services environment.
