If you are passionate about providing high level administrative support and customer service then we have two fantastic roles available in a large, diverse, output-driven business unit of Council. As part of our Planning Support team, you will be encouraged to achieve your best and thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As Planning Support Officer, your role will be integral in providing administrative and telephone support to the Statutory Planning Unit. Additionally you will provide professional advice and contribute to the continuous improvement of the unit. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to further advance their skills in administration and customer service.

Currently, we have two Planning Support Officer positions available:

1 x Permanent Full Time position: $64,176 per annum + Super + monthly ADO

1 x Temporary Part Time position (flexible 22.8 to 30.4 hours per week until Dec 2019): $64,176 per annum (pro rata) + Super

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who thrives under pressure and has the ability to positively contribute in a motivated team environment. You will have strong communication and time management skills, as well as sound problem solving and organisational abilities. Additionally you will have highly developed computer skills and database experience to undertake a range of administrative tasks to the highest standard. Previous experience in an administrative and customer service/call centre role is essential. Please indicate in your cover letter which position you are interested in (full time and / or part time).
