This is a pivotal leadership role in the Future Ready City of Stonnington, with the goal of leading transformational change and innovative performance across the organisation.

Key to this will be delivery and oversight of a planning and performance reporting framework to connect Council’s people, functions, and activities to deliver maximum economic and public value to the community. Leading a team to improve data collection systems and to build analysis capabilities, you will provide expertise and insight that enables the organisation to continually improve its performance and to strengthen its operations and delivery.

We are seeking applications from highly accomplished, transformational leaders with significant experience in driving high performance and change. You will be keen to take on a fantastic opportunity to be part of a sector-leading Corporate Services function and to partner with an Executive team who are truly setting new standards for Local Government.

You will bring in depth knowledge of the policies and standards relating to best practice corporate planning, performance reporting and evaluation, with significant experience in these areas obtained from large, complex organisations that offer diverse service delivery in a constantly changing political, social and economic environment.

Applicants should be highly motivated and capable leaders with proven experience encouraging staff involvement in the development and achievement of corporate planning, reporting and reviews. Qualifications in the Economic, Business or Public Policy field are essential, as is an inquiring and growth mindset that sparks innovation.
